The instructions
you were born with.
Your DNA is the blueprint you inherited. It changes little across your life and shapes what you may be predisposed to. It is the starting context for reading every other layer.
Indigo brings your blood markers, DNA methylation, gut microbiome and wearable data together and reads them over time. Every snapshot of your biology, in one picture.
Your digital twin. Example data.
Most people test one thing, usually a blood panel, and take it as the whole picture of their health. Very few have ever looked at their DNA methylation or their gut microbiome. Even fewer have looked at them all together.
“What could I have done differently?”
Too often asked, too late.
Most people only take their health seriously when symptoms arise. By then, medicine is treating what has already arrived, not preventing it.
That is how healthcare is built: it is reactive. It waits for a symptom, then responds. Many people reach a diagnosis, or the end of their lives, wishing they had known sooner. The signals are often there years earlier, spread across data that nobody reads cohesively.
According to the World Health Organization, most cardiovascular diseases can be prevented by addressing behavioural and environmental risk factors. Yet in 2021, 18 million people died from a non-communicable disease before the age of 70. Prevention starts with seeing the risk early.

The five layers follow your biology in order: the DNA you inherited, which genes are active, the microbes that meet your food, what is circulating in your blood, and how your body responds every day. Each one captures a different point in that chain. Read together, they show Indigo how what you inherited and how you live are shaping how your body works today.
Your DNA is the blueprint you inherited. It changes little across your life and shapes what you may be predisposed to. It is the starting context for reading every other layer.
Methylation marks help regulate which of your genes are active. They shift with age, environment and how you live. This is where your lifestyle meets your blueprint, and it moves.
Your gut microbes sit where the outside world meets your body. They process your food and medicines and work with your metabolism, immune system and gut barrier. Through the gut-brain axis, they also talk to your brain, linking digestion with mood and stress. What happens here often shows up later in your blood and your daily physiology.
Blood is a whole-body readout of what is happening now: blood sugar regulation, lipids, inflammation, hormones, organ function and nutrients. A standard check-up reads 10 to 30 markers, once. Indigo reads a full panel and watches it move over months.
Your wearable shows how your body responds, day to day: heart rate, heart-rate variability, activity and sleep, which reflect your nervous system and circadian rhythm. Indigo reads it against your own baseline, not an algorithm tuned to other people.
Multi-omic means reading several layers of your biology together, rather than one test at a time. Indigo follows one biological process across those layers at once, then checks whether the signals move together and hold over time.
One process, seen from several angles. A signal that shows up in multiple layers is more significant than a single reading alone.
One reading is a snapshot. Repeated readings show your trajectory, and whether it is changing.
Your own baseline is the reference point, not a population average.
Indigo brings your genomic data, lab results from any provider, gut panels and wearable data into a single structure that can be read as a whole.
Indigo reads, and infers, the non-obvious relationships between layers, uncovering signals that contain crucial insight into your body's biological state.
Depending on the nature of the risk flagged, Indigo may refer you to a clinician. Indigo explains and refers. Indigo does not diagnose.
Indigo generates a biologically tailored plan with its reasoning shown, and advises what to re-measure and when. The plan updates as your biological state changes.
At its core, Indigo creates and maintains your personal health profile, illustrated in Indigo's app as a digital twin. It is built on what is biologically true about you, not wearable algorithms, trending supplements or wellness streaks.
Indigo reads your own data, not an algorithm tuned to other people.
No trending supplements and no longevity fads. Only what the research supports.
Each new result makes Indigo's model of you more precise. The longer you use Indigo, the better Indigo knows you.
A living model of your body, built from every layer and updated as new results and daily data come in. Not a dashboard of averages. You.
Your DNA, bloods, gut and wearable data, placed where they belong and read against each other. Always a picture of you now, not of you last year.
Every insight Indigo provides is informed by your specific biological data: last night's sleep, your latest bloods, and every layer underneath.
“Every number traceable to its source, and no conclusion the data cannot carry.”
Kyle Govender is Indigo Health's Co-founder and CTO, and the engineering half of its founding team. An engineer with a deep interest in how human biology and vitality change over time, he is completing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Hull.
At Indigo Health, Kyle leads the technology behind the vision. He is responsible for the platform's architecture, its measurement telemetry and the computation at its core: making sure blood results, wearable data, DNA methylation and every other layer are analysed against a person's own baseline rather than traditional population ranges. He also leads the platform's security, privacy and data residency, and the empirical foundations behind every insight Indigo Health gives.
His driving principle is simple: you cannot do better without first knowing better.
“We are giving people the keys to their biology back: the ability to understand it, act on it, and take hold of their life long before something goes wrong.”
Indigo Haddington is the Co-founder and CEO of Indigo Health, a health-tech company exploring how longitudinal, multi-omic data can help us better understand the complexity of human biology.
Her work is grounded in a simple belief: the most valuable information about our health doesn't sit within a single biomarker or dataset, but in the relationships between them.
Drawing on her experience across medicine, wellness and artificial intelligence, Indigo holds that genetics, the microbiome, blood biomarkers, hormones, metabolism, immune function, environment and behaviour should not be understood in isolation. Indigo Health is working towards an evolving picture of each person's biological state, one that identifies meaningful relationships across the layers of biology and shows how they change over time.
At Indigo Health, Indigo leads the vision and the product. She sets the company's direction and strategy, builds the partnerships and the team that bring it to life, and holds everything Indigo Health creates to one standard: what is biologically true for the person using it. She built the first version of its reasoning engine herself.
Her goal is to make the complexity of human biology understandable to the person living inside it, helping people understand their bodies, how their biology changes and, ultimately, their health.
